A study on air pollution in Ankara

Abstract


 


In this study, relationships between various meteorologic factors and SO2 - particular substance measures which are the indicators of air pollution were examined by multivariate statistical methods.

In addition to this, in order to estimate the level of air pollution a day before, some multiple regression models have been established.

Since it can be an example to the places which have been suffering from air pollution, data from Ankara in 1989 was used. [Journal ofTurgut Ozal Medical Center 2(2): 184-188,1995]
