Electropliysiological results in pregnant women with carpal tunnel syndrome

In this study, ur evaluated the sensitivity of standart electroplıysiological studies in the pregnant women with carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS). compared with the non-pregnant women with ("IS and the //regnant women without CTS. The electroplıysiological abnormalities in the //regnant women with ("IS were present 2~.3% versus )l.~% for non-pregnant women with ("IS. Significantly different results on standart electroplıysiological parameters were present between three groups. He concluded that different electroplıysiological investigation and parameters on suspicion of ("IS in the //regnant women are needed when the standart electroplıysiological studies are normal.
