Ketamine and emergence reaction

Abstract


Ketamine is considered as a safe and effective drug in the premedication for children. However, sometimes it is associated with undesirable side effects. In this particular case, we report a five year old child with congenital pitosis who developed an emergence reaction related to ketamine premedication.
