A Study Of HBV Infection Prevalance In Bornova Emercency And Traumatology Hospital

Abstract


 


Purpose: In this cross-sectional descriptive study the personnel in Bornova Emergency and Traumatology Hospital were screened for HbsAg and Anti HBs levels.

Methods: Blood samples were analyzed in Virology Laboratory of İzmir Hıfzıssıhha Institude by Uniform Micro Elisa technique and data was analyzed by SPSS 6.0 statistic program.

Results and Conclusion: The HBsAg rate is % 2.64, Anti HBs rate is 14.60. The HBs Ag rate among doctors is % 2.08, the Anti HBs rate is 6.33.
