Efficacy Of Oral Acitretin In The Treatment Of Lichen Planus And Remission Time

Abstract


 

Lichen planus is a common, pruritic, inflammatory disease of the skin, hair follicles and mucous membrans.

Acitretin was administered to 10 patients with lichen planus, 50 mg/day and the efficacy of this monotherapy was

determined. It was concluded that acitretin therapy may provide an alternative way of treatment in patients with

lichen planus.
