Blunt abdominal trauma is a rare cause of lumbar herniation especially in cases with large flank hematoma and

pelvic fracture. We presented the CT findings of a 29 years old, instabile male patient with lumbar herniation. CT is

a sensitive method in detecting the abnormalities of abdominal wall muscles due to traumas.
