Current Legal Status In Forensıc Autopsy Procedures In Turkey

Abstract


 

Forensic autopsy is a special kind of postmortem examination which aims in revealing the questions raised by the

law authorities. In performing this procedure, there are several aspects which are necessitated by the relevant law

articles. This manuscript reviews the current legal status of forensic autopsies and the circumstances that forensic

autopsy must be undertaken, with points to be considered in this manner. Finally, its historical evolution in our

country is also mentioned.
