A rare cause of Rectovaginal fistula: Vaginal punch biopsy

Abstract


Obstetric injuries are the most common causes of rectovaginal fistulas. We herein reported a case which has the diagnosis of acut myeloid leucemia and has rectovaginal fistulas after vaginal punch byopsy. The surgical treatment of the fistulas in such cases must be transanal advancement flap instead of transvaginal repair.
