Seroprevalance of Hepatitis B Virus Infections

Abstract


In our study, hepatitis B seroprevalance has been determined and compared in 14.280 patients with suspected hepatitis B, 59 hemodialysis patients and 16080 blood donors admitted to our hospital between August 2008-August 2009. 1896 (13%) patients with suspected hepatitis B out of 14.280, 3 (5.1%) hemodialysis patients out of 59 and 382 (2.3%) blood donors out of 16.080 were identified to be positive for HBsAg.
