A Rare Cause of Chest Pain in Emergency Department: Subclavian Steal Syndrome

Abstract


 

Pain in the left arm and chest make up a significant part of the admissions to Emergency services. Subclavian steal syndrome should be taken into consideration as a differential diagnosis of patients having chest pain, pain in the left arm when it is used excessively and risk factors of coronary artery disease together with this complains. Assessments of pulse and blood pressure are the most significant examination findings in terms of diagnosis in this type of patients.
