Positive impact of vocal hygiene on the voice quality of madrassah students in Raiwind, Lahore, Pakistan

Objective: To determine the impact of vocal hygiene on the quality of voice of madrassa students.
Methodology: This Experimental study was conducted at Riphah International University, from January to April 2022. We randomly recruited 50 students studying at two madrassahs at Raiwind. The sample included either gender, aged 8 to 18 years studying in madrassas for >6 months. PRAAT application was used for evaluation. SPSS 23 was used for data analysis. Multivariate analysis was employed to analyze the difference between pre-intervention, mid-intervention, and post-intervention mean scores for Jitter, Shimmer, and harmonic to noise ratio. p
