EFFECT OF PHYLLANTHUS NIRURI ON THE DIURETIC ACTIVITY OF PUNARNAVA TABLETS

Abstract
The crude powder, liquid extract and dry extract of Phyllantbus niruri were found to have diuretic activity in rats. They also enhanced the diuretic activity of Punarnava preparations when administered with them in rats, suggesting synergistic activity.
