This research was conducted as a descriptive study for the purpose of determining the opinions of students about infertility who are in health education, are single and do not have children. There were 246 students in the sample who were registered in the Nursing and Health Officer Schools of Denizli School for Health Sciences of Pamukkale University. It was planned to conducted the research on the entire population however because some students did not want to participate a total of 227 students were included in the study sample. Data were collected between May-June 2005 using a demographic question form and a "Survey of Opinions about Infertility." The mean age of the students was 21.62±2.38. Of the participating students, 50.2% were in nursing school, 55.1% were female and 79.3% were not employed anywhere. It was determined that 64.8% of the students wanted to have two children and 14.1% had a family member with infertility.
