A Case of Adrenal Incidentaloma: Diagnosed Pheochromocytoma during Uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus Follow-up [Bir Adrenal İnsidentaloma Olgusu: Kontrolsüz Diabetes Mellitus Takibinde Feokromositoma Tanısı]

Abstract

Adrenal incidentalomas are serendipitously discovered by radiologic examination. Whether malignant mass and hormonal activity are two basic questions that need to be explained. Obtained radiological imaging features are very important and they are also guiding for diagnosis. Diagnostic biopsy of the lesion can be done but not used in routine. Although the majority of lesions in terms of hormonal activity are nonfunctional, patients can have different signs and symptoms. Therefore, they can’t attract the attention of the clinician until incidentally detected mass. Despite treatment modifications, we can not be achieved diabetic control in our case. We detected adrenal incidentaloma during follow-up, we are faced with an asymptomatic cases of pheochromocytoma. Surgical treatment was provided with both laboratory and clinical stabilization of the patients.
