The present study points to possibility of fish production in earthen ponds at Sahl El-Tina, Sinai, Egypt. Trials in polyculture semi-intensive managed ponds was conducted for the evaluation of the culture potential of two fish species, monosex male tilapia (Oreochromis niloticus)and Liza ramada in two ponds (5 feddan each) in a private fish farm at Sahl El-Tina, Sinai, Egypt during the period from April to November, 2010. Fish with an average size of 11.3 cm and 35.72 g for monosex tilapia with a stocking rate of 4000 fish/ feddan and 21.2 cm and 78.29g for Liza ramada with a stocking rate of 1000 fish/ feddan. The fish were fed 25 % protein pellets diet at a rate of 2-3% of total body weight. The fish growth parameters of poly-culture were monitored monthly for growth rates, survival, specific and relative growth rate. The results of the present study showed that average final mean lengths and weights of individual fishes after 7 months rearing were 25.2 cm and 282.83g for monosex tilapia and 30.25 cm and 229.58g for Liza ramada. The average survival rate was 94% for O. niloticus and 99% for Liza ramada. The condition factors of reared fish were 1.77 for O. niloticus and 0.83 for Liza ramada. The specific growth rates (g/day) were 0.99% for O. niloticus and 0.51% for Liza ramada. The average relative growth rates were 794.6 for O. niloticus and 294.24 for Liza ramada. The total final production was 1067 kg/feddan for O. niloticus and 227 kg/feddan for Liza ramada.
