Development and Characterization of Healthy Gummies Containing Natural Ingredients

The development of herbal gummies that can be used to treat toothaches is the primary goal of this research project. A sort of herbal treatment called herbal gummies for toothaches is intended to assist reduce the pain and discomfort that come with toothaches. Natural substances like herbs, essential oils, and other plant-based substances with analgesic and anti-inflammatory qualities are often found in these candies. Material and methods: In order to promote oral health, the current study prepares herbal gummies containing clove oil and dragon fruit extract, which are then assessed using a conventional methodology. Result: Carbohydrates, alkaloids, flavonoids, terpenoids, and polyphenol were identified in the manufactured herbal gummies, according to the phytochemical study. The findings of the physio-chemical and sensory assessments of the herbal gummies show that dragaon fruit and clove oil prepared gummies have the best consistency, moldability, and desired taste and color. They are also stable when stored. Conclusion: The dragon fruit, also called pitaya, was chosen to make the herbal gummies since it has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities. Eugenol, that is found in clove oil, can be used as a local anesthetic and antibacterial. Gelatine, agar, and honey were used for their natural sweetness. Usually taken orally, herbal gummies for toothaches are chewed like conventional candies. They are thought to function through enhancing general oral health and lowering pain and inflammation in the affected area
