The present study investigated the impact of different leadership styles on job satisfaction of
employees. Data was collected from Accountant General Office Punjab Lahore from employee’s,
survey designed to evaluate the leadership practices and also to assess the level of employee’s job
satisfaction. A questionnaire was developed in order to investigate the effect of different styles of
leadership on job satisfaction. The data set obtained from AG office Punjab Lahore was analyzed
with the help of different statistical tools and techniques also. In this study the correlation,
regression test also used to determine that how well theoretical distributions fit the empirical
distribution. The results of current study show that, the participative style of leadership recognize
as one of the most dominant way of guidance in this government sector of Pakistan, other ways of
management control also needed to enhance the satisfaction of workers.
