Khalid EL-Maaytah, Hamad Ammar, Mohammed Aldabbas, Odai M.Sayegh.

Abstract

Summary:
We are presenting a 60 year old female with left middle finger soft tissue defect involving the dorsal aspect of distal phalanx; as a result of excision of recurrent fungating granuloma mass. The patient was treated with local trans-positional adipofacial turnover flap from dorsum of same finger as a one stage procedure. This provided excellent coverage and good wound healing to resume function of finger as early as possible. The flap survival was adequate with no morbidity to the donor site.

Key words: adipofacial - turnover - granuloma - dorsal finger
