The Serum Total Lipid Profile of Dermatophilosis Infected and Healthy (susceptible) Cattle Breeds in VOM

Abstract
A Study was conducted to compare the total serum lipids status of dermatophilus infected and healthy cattle breeds in Vom. Eighteen (18) cattle comprising 9 healthy and 9 infected cattle’s of Nigerian indigenous origin (Sokoto Gudali, White Fulani and Red Bororo) with an average weights of 240kg of the same sex (males) were used for the study. Blood samples were collected from the V. Jugularis prior to the morning feeding, and submitted for total serum lipid status.
