Abstract

This article discusses the issue of agricultural support policies from va rio us dimensions and evaluates the major problem is regarding the Turkish agriculture. First, it reviews the agricultural support policies of Turkey in a historical perspective, and highlights the efforts for implementing new support policies in recent years. Thenit discusses in detail major financial as well as structural problem s of the Turkish agriculture and renders suggesstions for possible solutions
