This article consists of five sections for the proposed regional policies in Turkey. First section is introduction of this paper. In the second section of this paper different approaches (Keynesian regional policies, orthodox neoliberal regional policies and new regionalism) about regional policies in the 20. Century are discussed. In the third section regional development agencies (RDAs) and new regional policies of Turkey are presented. In the fourth section it is argued that (RDAs) and new regionalism is suitable for less developed countries. And it is tried out how new approaches affect Turkish regional policies. The last section is about conclusions of this paper.
