Globalization of labour markets has been one of the most important debates of the literature in economics. There are mainly three lines of discussion : first, the foreign trade effects on employment and on wage inequality have been analyzed. Secondly, the impacts of foreign direct investments on employment and wage gap have been questioned and finally the introduction and the diffussion of the new technology have been taken as one of the fundemantal factors that determine the level of employment and the magnitude of wage gap. The main results of the researches on developed and devoloping countries' labour markets have shown that none of the dbove factors can individually explain the whole changes observed in the level of employment and the variations in wage gap.
