A Case Report: The Giant epidermal inclusion cyst of the Thigh

Abstract

The epidermal cysts are the most common cutaneous cysts. They are popularly known as sebaceous cysts. The common sites of occurrence of epidermal cysts are the scalp, face, scrotum, neck and back .The extremities are involved uncommonly .If the size of the cyst is more than 5 cm, it is known as the giant epidermal cyst. Though these giant cysts are rare, one should be aware that these cysts are more prone to malignant transformation if not treated early. Here, we present case of giant epidermal inclusion cyst of the thigh.
