Attitudes Of University Students Towards Abortion Of Defected fetuses In Jordan

Abstract

This study aimed to know the attitudes of university students in Jordan toward abortion of
defect fetuses, as well asexamine the effect of some variable on these attitudes. To achieve
the aims of this study, a questionnaire of attitudes toward abortion of defect fetuses were
used to collect data from 257students.Frequencies and percentages, means and
standarddeviation and 4-Way ANOVA were used to analyze the personal data of the
respondents.
The findings of this study showed that the attitudes of university students toward
abortion of defect fetuses are neutral. Furthermore, it indicated that there are statistically
significant differences in the attitudes toward abortion of defect fetusesdue to the college
year in preference to the first year who agree abortion of defect fetuses.
There are no statistically significant differences between universitystudents in the
attitudes due to (university specialization, previous experience in dealing with disabled
person, member family with disability).
