TRIBAL RESOURCE MANAGEMENT: A STUDY OF FOREST RIGHTS ACT IN ODISHA

Abstract
The forest plays a vital role in the life and livelihood. Majority rule decentralization in the ongoing headway
discourse emerged as a key instrument of managerial control with underscoring individuals' contribution in the
dynamic procedures, hence guaranteeing responsibility and straightforwardness in the execution of the
improvement programs. This article endeavours to consider the decentralization procedure, its components, its
calculated and hypothetical comprehension under authoritative systems of administration (i.e., development of
Panchayats Raj Institutions under 73rd Constitutional Amendment and expansion through the Panchayats
Extension to Scheduled Areas Act). It is gives their emphasis to peoples involvement in the process of decision
making is important thing. Hence, the government have been gives emphasizing peopleís involvement. In this
context, the objective of the paper is attempted to examine, whether understanding the legal framework on tribal
development in Odisha. The responsibilities state government towards tribalís results and the relationship
between forest resources and forest dwellers has been symbiotic in nature. The data was collected randomly
from thirty villages (three blocks, each in 10 villages selected) and descriptive statistics was used for analysis.
The result show that the FRA process through which the rights of forest dwellers and tribal likes to control,
management and use ancestral customary forest land have been systematically.
