Vehicle arrival pattern is a main criterion in the delay assessment of different toll plazas. One of the foremost
issues to know many traffic streams are in self-similar to study and plan some performance metrics as mobile
network, ethernet traffic, etc. In this paper, experiential studies are carried out to examine the presence of selfsimilarity

services have been measured and found the length of the queue, waiting time of the customers. The results
proven that the vehicle arrival pattern of arterial road near the toll plazas exhibit self-similar pattern this finding
is helpful to model the toll plazas in terms of planning and designing in the view of quality of maintenance.
