Lessons Learned In The Educational Field From Covid-19 Epidemic

Abstract

Following the emergence of COVID-19 (novel coronavirus) in Wuhan China at the end of December 2019, this pandemic has affected all the countries all over the world. Therefore, most of the countries have decided to shut down their education system to prevent this virus from spreading, but the closure of many of those educational institutions has made it impossible for students to provide learning materials because they are unable to provide the appropriate technology. In facilitating these institutions in digitizing learning throughout this phase, the research examines the most frequently used technologies employed in the provision of learning materials taking into consideration the experience of most affected nations. In this research, the effect of COVID-19 pandemic on the education in some middle east countries and other worldwide countries and the utilized tools to deliver the e-learning efficientlywere surveyed. Furthermore, the findings ofthe study may facilitate educational institutions in digitizing their learning contents during the COVID-19 outbreaks.
