Strengthening Healthcare Workers and Professionals amid COVID-19 Pandemic

Recently, the world has been faced with the dilemma of combating the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). The rising incidence and prevalence rate of this disease is alarming, and the related death rates is worrisome. As healthcare workers and professionals continue to fight this outbreak, there is an urgent demand to strengthen them against possible psychological injury emanating from the discharge of their duties. More so, it is essential that governments and stakeholders in the health sectors take preemptive actions towards strengthening the well-being and welfare of healthcare workers.
