Assessment of nurses' knowledge toward electronic nursing documentation

Abstract

Objective: To evaluate nurses' understanding of electronic nursing documentation.
Methodology: This descriptive study used non probability purposive sampling and included 40 nurses selected during the period of November 20th 2021 to November 1st 2022. The validity of the questionnaire was assessed to a panel of experts in the nursing field.
Results: Majority of the nurses' knowledge regarding electronic nursing documentation in the pre-test was poor, whereas there were some questions that were fair. Conclusions: Nurses' level of knowledge was inadequate and there was no significant differences regarding age, gender educational level, years of employment and training courses.
