THE LEGAL PROVISIONS OF PRACTISING SPORTS FOR WOMEN

Abstract
Islam paid great attention to the status of women and stating their position in all respects, honouring them. Islam specified some legal provisions to them, these regulation suits their nature and mental, emotional, physical formation. Generally, Islam permits a woman to practice permissible sports, at the same time Islam sets some regulations that a woman has to follow. Islam imposed these regulations to attain the goals of sport, without breaking the Islamic regulations. The researcher will deal with these regulations through two sections, the first section is allocated to general regulations for women‟s practise of sport, and the second section is specified to the special regulations for women‟s practice of sports.
