Applications Of Blockchain Technology In Business With Special Reference To Supply Chain Management

Abstract

Business applications of Blockchain Technology are on the rise but there is little initiative to use it to streamline supply chain operations. A review of literature and comparative analysis has been done to review how and where blockchains can be used in business, especially in management of supply chains. This study critically examines the various features of Blockchain Technology and its use to improve the transparency, efficiency, cost effectiveness and security of supply chains. Further, this study acknowledges its limitations and provides valuable insight to academicians and professionals on the areas where Blockchain Technology enhances the supply chain network.
