Choosing Hotel Industry As A Career Option Post Industrial Exposure Training: A Study Based On Hotel Management Graduates

Abstract

The tremendous growth of the hospitality industry may open up new employment opportunities, it is frequently censured for offering jobs that are poorly paid and low skilled. Understanding students' opinions of hotel occupations is crucial if they are to become the hotel managers of future. The final-year students in this paper are those who have finished their industrial exposure trainin-g and are prepared for employment in hotels. According to the survey, neither positive nor negative responses were received from students on working in hotels. The results also demonstrate a willingness to engage in positions associated with hotels or pursue higher education in the hospitality sector. The effect of the student's unfavorable experience during their industrial exposure training in hotels on their perception is contested.
