Organizational Learning in Primary Schools in the Views of School Administrators and Teachers

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to explore the views of primary school administrators and teachers about organizational learning in primary schools. The sample of the research which used the survey method consisted of totally 345 individuals, 239 teachers and 107 school administrators from primary schools in Van province and Gevaş district. “Organizational Learning in Primary Schools Scale”, developed by Güçlü and Türkoğlu, was used to gather data. The study concluded that the participant administrators and teachers had moderate perceptions of learning organization and their views significantly varied according to title, gender, seniority and the number of teachers at school.
