The sample size was calculated using the sampling formula based on the population of the study universe and 1750 children were sampled. Personal information form was used to obtain demographic information about children, and their level of creativity was measured with ECCS, which will be standardized in Turkey. SPSS 20 and LISREL (ver.8.80) were used for the analysis of the data. The analyses verified that ECCS is a valid and reliable tool, with established norms, to use with Turkish children.
