The Role of Nursing Informatics in Healthcare Sector

Kiran Sharma, Sapam Debika Devi, Bhavna Sharma.

Innovation plays a significant part in the healthcare and nursing sector of today's complex health systems. The role of nursing must, however, be investigated and the need for adequate educational facilities to be tailored to an ever-increasing pace of the technologies appears to be clear. The criterion used for evaluating research centred mainly on healthcare informatics and the value of experience in the successful application of IT in all areas of the nursing career. The core elements of introduction of nursing informatics is regarded in a crucial evaluation of evolving technology as healthcare promotion, internet, digital devices, and network. Given the nature and evolution of information age, all types of nurses need to receive the necessary IT training. Thanks to rapid technological advances, the usage of electronic technologies for nursing outcomes and health care practices and the recruitment of nurses is desirable. Training programs will develop long- and short-term, tailored courses based on 4 target groups: senior students, academic students, stagiaires and doctoral graduates. The analysis is aimed at helping educational institutions to grow their curricula.
