Studies was conducted to determine the Incidence of Cattles Ringworm Lesions in Aliero, Kebbi State, Nigeria. Thirty cattle in Labana farm, Jigabirni, Runtuwa of Aliero Local Government were examined from May to July 2017. The animals were grouped into two ages (the young and adult) and they were examined for skin ringworm lesions (Dermatophytosis). Of the 30 cattle studied, 27 were physically positive for skin dermatophytosis. Also, infection status in relation to age, sex, and environmental conditions were examined. The highest incidence rate (91.7%) was recorded in female cattle and the lowest rate (88.9%) was recorded in male cattle. The incidence of the infection was not significant (p=0.804). The incidence of Ringworm Lesions in Jiga Birni and Aliero Runtuwa was high, both are having (100%), while in Labana farms, the incidence of the infection was low (70.0%). Base on the anatomical site of infections, the neck showed the highest incidence rate (100%), while the least (85.7%) was recorded in tail. In conclusion, Cattle serve as major source of meat in the world and fungi infection is considered to be a major factor that affects the survival of cattle. Therefore, time to time treatment and proper inspection of symptomatic and asymptomatic animals, isolation of symptomatic and infected animals, and any other control measures is highly recommended.
