Lower Limb Revascularization at Inoperable Coronary Artery Disease Under Local Anesthesla

Abstract

A female and 14 male patients underwent lower limb revascularization, under local anesthesia and slight sedatic between 1990 and 1992. It was detected that alt of the cases were under risk by the point of general anesthesia b( cause of the inoperabl coronary artery disease which revealed by coronary angiography.
Femoropopliteal bypass was performed for 10 cases and axillofemoral bypass was performed for 5 cases. Pro thetic grafts were used at ali procedures. It was detected that,all of the grafts were patent at 2-18 months follow up ar there were no complication except a soft tissue infection which developed at one cases at second month of operation Finally we conclude that bypass procedures under, local anesthesia willf4ncrease life quality for those patient whose are at high risk general anesthesia.
