The article covers the study of the topic of information provision of Leningrad during the German
siege in World War II. The particular characteristics of the work of information presentation bodies in the
conditions of the siege are considered; the analysis of the effectiveness of various methods of presenting
information is conducted; the forms and working methods of various structures for alerting the population of
besieged Leningrad are investigated.
