“EFFECT OF BOOKLET ON PREVENTION AND TREATMENT PLAN OF DENGUE FEVER AMONG KNOWLEDGE OF PEOPLE IN RURAL AREA.”

Abstract
Background of the study: -Study aimed to provide in-depth knowledge of prevention and treatment plan of dengue fever.
Objective: Study investigated with the objective of effectiveness of booklet on Prevention and treatment plan of dengue fever.
Material and methods:-The experimental study done on prevention and treatment plan of dengue fever among people in rural area. Total 40 samples with one group pre-test post-test design was used. After ethical clearances and permission of sarpanch .Pre-test taken with help of self-prepared questionnairewhich was validated by experts in people of Koyanvasahat as a rural area and immediate booklets are provided to them on prevention and treatment policies of dengue fever as a post intervention. Data collected with convenient technique.Samples included in the study were fulfilling the inclusion criteria. Samples included those know Marathi.(Scoring -0-6 poor knowledge,7-13-Good knowledge ,14-20-Excellent Knowledge.
Results: Result of the present study shows thatpre-test mean score9.55and post-test mean score 19.725 and P -value
