“Incubation Centers Are The Pillars Of Entrepreneurship Development”- A Study On Role Of Technology Business Incubators In Promoting Entrepreneurship With Special Reference To Uttarakhand State

Abstract

Incubation centers play a crucial role in identifying as well as supporting the entrepreneurial potential among the future entrepreneurs. Now days, universities, corporate, Government and other well recognized institutions are working enthusiastically to promote the zeal of entrepreneurship among each and every person associated with them especially the young generation. They have well equipped TBI so as to welcome and support the emerging entrepreneurial ideas by way of technology, manpower, finance, liasoning etc. The successful operation of incubation centers helps in generation of more employment opportunities and thus facilitating in converting job seekers into job creators and making the population in fact nation, self sufficient. The present paper focuses on identifying the role of such incubation centre in Uttarakhand state development.
