The Efficacy of Psychoeducational Group Therapy in Inpatients

Abstract

Objective: Patients with chronic mental diseases experience difficulties in the management of their illness and in maintaining their care. This results in relapses and rehospitalizations. The aim of this study is to measure the effectiveness of a psycho-educational group program for inpatients. Method: A psycho-educational program was applied to 46 patients for 10 months.
