A COMPARATIVE STUDY ON EMPLOYEE SATISFACTION (ES) AND EMPLOYEE COMMITMENT (EC) IN PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SECTOR BANKS OF ODISHA

Abstract
The biggest completion for the banking sector is to satisfy its employees so that they can accelerate and succeed in an ever-changing and evolving environment. Most studies examine the link between employee satisfaction and organizational performance. The aim of this research is to provide a link between employee satisfaction and employee commitment, a comparative study on employee satisfaction (ES) and employee commitment (EC) in public and private sector banks in Odisha. The study adopts the SEM model and the results. The study seeks to draw management attention on rebuilding its existing strategies to increase the stopping capacity of the talent pool, which is certainly critical to its competitive survival in the global marketplace. This model was taken by two major banks, namely State Bank of India (SBI) and Industrial Credit and Investment Corporation of India (ICICI) in the Twin Cities (Cuttack and Bhubaneswar) of Odisha.
