Clinical and swab status of Health care workers after exposure to aerosol generating procedures on COVID-19 confirmed Patient: A case report

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is caused by the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2). At the time of writing of this case report approximately 4.4 million cases of COVID-19 have been reported, including three hundred thousand deaths. Transmission dynamics of SARS-CoV2 still remain uncertain as far as airborne route is concerned. This has led to variations in recommendations for Infection prevention and control guidance during health care when COVID-19 is suspected or confirmed. This case report describe the swab status and clinical outcome of 12 exposed Health care workers to aerosol generating procedures while taking close care of COVID-19 patient before the diagnosis was made.
