Aim: Aim of the present study is to indicate the link between chronic otomastoiditis (COM) and mastoid size and asymmetry
Material and Methods: 1870 patients who underwent computed tomography (CT) imaging for variorus indications were retrospectively evaluated. Of the 1870 patients 67 were included in this study. Coronal and sagittal images of 67 patients were evaluated and 3D reconstructed.
Results: There was no significant difference between right and left sides with respect to age and gender.(p>0,05).VLBM (verti,cal lenght difference between tips of mastoids) was significant in patients with left hypopneumatized mastoid. (p
