We present a 78-year-old female was admitted with severe upper abdominal pain. Radiologic studies demonstrated a 10-cm lobulated malignant mass with internal necrosis in segments 4 and 8 of the liver, extending continuously to the gallbladder. Ultrasound-guided needle biopsy of mass showed intermingled patterns of malignant glandular structures and solid cell nests within the fibrous stroma. She received systemic chemotherapy combined with cisplatin and gemcitabine because of the unresectable stage. However, she died of cancer progression 8 months later.
