The teaching methods and materials have undergone several challenges after the advent of technology. The needs of the learners are getting changed. The traditional chalk and talk method of language teaching fails to meet the needs pf the learners. Of all the social networking sites, Facebook is one which is now being widely used. Hence, it can be used as a tool to create a student centered classroom. Almost all the students now own a smart phone so, it can be used as a medium in promoting the communicating skills. The paper aims at finding the means through which Facebook can be used in enhancing students’ communication skills. The hypothesis of the paper is that students enjoy expressing their activity, thought, and feeling to their friends through fb. Students feel shy to communicate in the classroom but they freely communicate in fb.
