Political Representation In Animation : Attack On Titan As A Sample

Abstract

Attack on Titan is a bestselling manga that treated dramatically some political and social issues. One of the topics that are represented in this manga is the topic of holocaust. Adolf Hitler and his speeches against Jewsthat turned into bad feelings from Germans against Jewish community and lead to burn a huge numbers of them. What is known as Holocaust is killing Jews in horrible way which is classified later as the war crime(anti-Semitism)in international law and condemned around the world was inevitable outcome to Hitler's political speech, particularly, after accusing them that they are beyond every disaster around the world. Actually, the research focuses on turning the political speech for Hitler to actual action against Jews, and how he used the political speech negatively to justify his attitude against them.
Eldians and Marley government and how Marley government oppressed Eldians in a similar way to what Nazi government did with Jews and using it as a common point to clarify what is the impact of political speech on people.
