Despite the success of treatment in a 46-year-old female patient treated for the diagnosis of COVID-19, the developing delirium picture does not benefit from the agents given pharmacologically. With the careful approach and communication skills of the nurse, the cause of the patient's agitation was understood and the physician used the initiative and the patient's husband was taken to the patient room as an attendant. With the effect of the biopsychosocial approach, the patient's delirium picture rapidly regressed. This approach model, which is the basis of physician and nursing practices, provides benefits in every step of the health services.

Key words: COVİD-19, delirium, biopsychosocial approach
