Abstract

daruharidra ( Indian barberry (berbersis aristata)) – Berberis aristata is erect evergreen shrub with height of 3.5mt.Daruharidara herb is native to Himalaya in india. many acharyas described this plants various pharmacological functions like sothhara, vedansthapana, vranaropan, varanasodhana, dipan, pachan, yakrtutejaka, grahi, pittavirechaka, jvaragna, raktasodaka, kaphaghna, varnya, and rasayan.
