Faculty of Ayurveda, Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi is organizing World Congress of Ayurveda BHU-2019 (WCABHU-2019) on March 14 to 16, 2019, where the delegates from different countries from fields of Ayurveda, Modern Medicine, social sciences and basic sciences are expected to participate. The focal theme of WCABHU-2019 is to Develop evidence based Ayurvedic medicines and procedures. It will bring the latest improvements in fast-moving areas of health care, covering all aspects of theory, research and application to develop new potential outcome in health care, early diagnosis, awareness for preventive measures and combined therapy by psychosomatic modulation and medicine. This will give an opportunity to interact with experts from nursing, nutritionists and yogic practices along with basic biological-scientists and doctors of Allopathic system of medicine. Besides the medicines, the role of life style, diet, mental-health, spirituality and procedures in health care will be discussed. All the proposed sessions will accommodate literary, basic and clinical researches in form of guest lectures, panel discussions, oral and poster presentations. The scientific programme has been designed to encourage translational research for expanding the horizon of knowledge in medical biology to develop new drugs, better procedures, sound understanding of pathogenesis, novel targets for therapy and many more aspects towards holistic approach of health management. It is aimed to cover the basic concepts of Ayurveda, Allopathy, Siddha, Unani, Homeopathy, Naturopathy along with Chinese Traditional Medicine (TCM), Tibeten medicine and Campo medicine of Japan to develop a strong base with common terminology. It will showcase various aspect of Health care, Wellness, Industrial inputs, plants cultivation, Life style products, with an aim to bring awareness and also to educate for better business opportunities which is in association with People's Foundation.

Further, A student oriented Associated Event namely 'AYUSH PRAGYA' is also being organized at the same time Besides Science, we shall also take care about the tourism and spiritual aspect of participants. Ayushpragya, being a programme being organized by the students and for the students to culture their hidden talents in every field of their personality. Ayurveda colleges cfrom varrious parts of countries are welcome to participate.
